OverviewThis 1:160 N Scale model portrays the Mercedes‑Benz T2 508D light commercial vehicle, widely used in Germany by fire brigades (Feuerwehr) and the Technisches Hilfswerk (THW). Built between 1967 and 1996, the T2 became known as the “Düsseldorf Transporter” and served roles ranging from fire truck and ambulance to support vehicle. It offered a versatile chassis available in panel van, truck, and minibus variants, powered by reliable diesel engines like the OM 314 (~85 hp) and later OM 364 (~105‑136 hp). Known for durability, flexibility, and ease of service, it was a backbone of German emergency services during the Cold War era. This item includes pre-cut windows. This is an unpainted product. The scale of the model is 1:160, N Gauge / N Scale. If you want to receive the model in 1:144, 1:148, 1:150 or 1:152, you can enter this in the note field during the ordering process and we will produce your order in this scale without surcharge. Please note that we do not print in other scales such as 1:100, 1:72 etc.
